Bruxelles, je t’aime

My heart aches over the fact that another city I love has found itself in the crosshairs of more pointless, vicious acts of butchery.  As I did a few months ago for Paris (and would have for Ankara if I had any material), I thought I would present a visual tribute to Brussels as a show of solidarity.  I certainly hope that this second entry in the series will be the last.

Although it appears to be a small castle, la Porte de Hal/Halleport (built 1381) is actually a gate in the now demolished city wall.
