Nice, je t’aime

This is the third visual tribute to cities that have endured the unimaginable.  In March of this year, my wife Rachel and I visited Nice at the beginning of a two week trip through southern France and Spain.  With my series on Bolivia and Peru drawing to a close, this trip was actually going to be the next blog topic.  I’m fond of Nice’s colorful buildings and brilliant blue water.  Looking back through the photos now, however, I can’t help but look at the pleasant seaside path known as Promenade des Anglais differently.
